Antimicrobial resistance

The Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Node at Infect@LU is dedicated to addressing the growing challenge of antimicrobial resistance, a major global health challenge that threatens effective treatment of infectious diseases and the foundations of modern medicine.

The node serves as an open, dynamic and inclusive platform for researchers with an interest in AMR to connect and collaborate and to increase the visibility of AMR-related research and education at Lund University. The node welcomes perspectives from across disciplines, including molecular biology, clinical diagnostics, epidemiology, and the social sciences, reflecting the many dimensions of this multifaceted challenge. By facilitating exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration, the node aims to stimulate innovative research that can contribute to novel strategies for combating AMR.

We welcome all researchers, clinicians, and trainees with an interest in AMR to join the node and get involved in our activities, workshops, or collaborative projects. To get involved, please reach out to Lisa or Anders (see side bar).
