Immunotherapy

The Immunotherapy Node at Infect@LU is a collaborative initiative that brings together researchers interested in harnessing and modulating the immune system—either actively or passively—to treat infectious diseases. Our scope spans a wide range of approaches, from experimental immunotherapies and vaccines to immune-modulating interventions in clinical settings.

The node aims to foster knowledge sharing, brainstorming, training, and collaboration among research group leaders, clinicians, and trainees. By connecting diverse expertise in immunology, infectious diseases, and translational research, we strive to accelerate the development of innovative immune-based strategies for combating infections.

We warmly welcome new members with interests in any aspect of immunotherapy with a focus on e.g. the analytical perspective, basic mechanistic studies, and clinical applications, and encourage suggestions for activities that will help the node grow and thrive.
